Blackheart has suffered a most grievous loss. The computer used to store all of my music died and all the data stored on the hard drive was lost. That means that only one song remains from the first CD and three from the second. Everything that I had done for an upcoming full length CD was lost.
However, I am not looking at this as a setback. I am looking at it as an opportunity to reboot the project. To start over as it were. I fell this will help me grow as a musician and brush away the lower quality work that had been released.
So I am very proud to announce two upcoming EP releases.
The first will be the new first release from Blackheart. The title will be the Gone To Graveyards EP and the track list is as follows:
01. Where Have All The Flowers Gone?
02. Tears Soak A Calloused Heart
03. The Long Black Veil
04. The Sun Is Burning
05. 16 Shells From A Thirty-Ought-Six
06. St. James Infirmary
The other release is the One Less Tornado EP and will be half new versions of the songs that appeared on the old release. This is a tribute to the late Chris LeDoux and will be all covers of his songs. The track list is:
01. Riding For A Fall
02. Cowboy Up
03. Billy The Kid
04. 8 Second Ride
05. Horsepower
06. Life Is A Highway
Keep your eyes peeled and your ears open for the new material. Check out the previews available here.
